In the third arrondissement of Paris is a multidisciplinary (or just multi interested) hub in the guise of a bookstore. 0fr System is a place to connect, exhibit, publish, organize, perform and play with this “modern gang” of Parisians. They also publish their own Paris city guides, organize ‘excursions’ and even hold a Summer school to do “soft brainstorming from May to November”. Acting as a bohemian clubhouse, the bookstore attracts thinkers, doers and makers from around the city and the globe, and then shares, via film shorts, their portraits, parties and performances. One regular is Edwarda’s Sam Guelimi (see our profile of Sam here); 0fr has been selling Edwarda since issue no.1 and also exhibited a collection of her photography last January, that’s actually where we found out about her. A great example of using what you have around you (talented people, a physical space, and the Internet) to make something great.
